When Des Moines natives Janet Mark and Frank Lipsman moved to Kansas City, becoming active members of the Jewish community was just part of building a life. They feel good knowing that through the Foundation, they can do good for the community. One of the many organizations Janet and Frank make annual contributions to is the Jewish Community Relations Bureau/American Jewish Committee’s permanent endowment, the Bert Berkley Advocate for Community Relations Fund. “We support the work of the JCRB/AJC because we believe that encouraging and facilitating dialogues among diverse ethnic and religious groups is essential to promoting a harmonious community.”
