“My parents instilled in me the values of charitable giving and supporting worthy causes in our community. My father, Sandy Cohn, passed away in January. He had a long history of leadership in the Jewish Community Foundation and served as a Life Trustee. He had the foresight to establish a Charitable Remainder Trust with the Foundation as the Trustee to provide ongoing support of the many causes he cared about, through the Foundation’s Community Legacy Fund. He was an advocate for the Foundation and encouraged many others to consider ways that the Foundation could support their personal charitable goals. I continue to be inspired by my parents’ dedication to our community and am proud of the impact they made during their lives and through this planned gift, will continue to make long into the future.”
