Brothers Jerry and Marty Enslein were inspired to open a Donor Advised Fund together as a meaningful way to remember their parents. “Throughout our childhood and into our adult lives, our parents impressed upon us the importance of being charitable and helping those who are less fortunate than we are,” reflected Jerry. “We felt strongly that the best way to honor Mom and Dad’s memory was to perpetuate their tradition of giving with the creation of the Leonard and Barbara Enslein Family Philanthropic Fund.” In addition to Jerry and Marty, Jerry’s daughters are also involved in supporting organizations that help those in need through the Fund. Through this Donor Advised Fund, the Enslein’s family commitment to tzedakah continues for multiple generations.
